Once you choose KeepMoving as your shipping partner, our Dispatch Department will start working on your order. Your Advisor will inform you when driver is ready to pick up the vehicle and if there are any addistions charges depending on the route situations.
As you accept an offer, your spot reserved with the Carrier and Shipping Agreement will be finalized. All terms will be outlined in this document for your signature and review.
All of your driver's contact information is included in a dispatch notice. It is advised that you phone your Carrier in advance of the pickup date to confirm all arrangements with the driver they have given you with a job. If you require any extra help, your KeepMoving Advisor is here to help you.
Prior to pick-up and delivery, the driver is expected to keep you informed about the progress of your package. You can track your shipment until it delivers. However, you can always contact your KeepMoving Advisor if you have any questions or need help updating your status.
Your car will undergo a final inspection by the Carrier, which will be noted in the Bill of Lading (BOL). After personally verifying the vehicle's condition, sign the BOL. Cash, cashier's check, or money order must be presented to the carrier at the time of delivery.
Vehicles that are heavier, longer, or higher than the typical car require special accommodations. Therefore, shipping these autos will cost extra.
Special equipment will be needed to load inoperable autos. In order to be loaded with a winch, your immobile car must be able to roll, steer, and brake. The cost of shipping these cars will be higher.
There will be a lot more Carriers operating in major towns and cities. Costs are consequently lower than in more remote areas. The Carrier might have to divert from its usual trucking lane to include some rural areas on a cargo route. Your total quote includes the additional time and gasoline.
